Birthday lunch for my daughter, it was excellent. We especially liked the small plates: red snapper crudo, dynamite shrimp, Brussels sprouts, jalapeños poppers. The rolls are large & colorful, tasted pretty good. The free dessert cake in a rum/bourbon sauce was awesome. Definitely 2 thumbs up.
This place exceeded my expectations! As someone who first tried Japanese Cuisine — this place did not disappoint to bring flavor to each bite I took. I was beyond amazed by the quick service and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked into the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place for first-timers or just casual eating.
What I ordered:
Small Plates: Pan Seared Dumpling (vegetable option)
Main entrée: Katsu-don (rice-bowl dish), Euphoria (sushi rolls), and 2 Tuna traditional rolls.
For the price this is one of the best sushi restaurants in all of Atlanta. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are well thought out, and the food is really well prepared and of high quality. One of the things that sets Fudo apart is the uniqueness of their sushi rolls. Be forewarned, these are not for everyone. As an example, I had the Wonder Woman 1984 which was the sushi roll with hard Italian cheese sprinkled on top. This is a very unique experience to say the least for anyone who consumes a lot of raw fish products. I enjoy the uniqueness even though some of the roles there may not be the most perfectly balanced. This will certainly be one of my most frequently visited sushi restaurants in atlanta.
We love this restaurant specially for their crispy vegetable dumplings and avocado roll. I wished they had more vegetarian options to choose from.
The miso soup is good too and this time we tried the rice bowl with Tofu stir fry & vegetables. It was on the sweeter side but not bad. The service was pretty slow as the restaurant was packed. Good ambience and quality of food is good too
Absolutely one of the delicious sushi food experiences. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, exquisite drinks and a wide variety of combinations in rolls. 👏🏻👏🏻 “Dynamite Shrimp” … OMG 😍!
Best sushi experience so far in Atlanta. We went at 5:30 pm at every seat was taken. For good reason…this place is awesome! Sushi is not fishy tasting, rolls are creative and delicious. All around good experience. We’ll be back
Amazing sushi, very fresh and lots of options. Presentation and service were good. Mouthwatering and didn’t feel bloated after we left even though we ate too much
My daughter suggested thie place for lunch, and it did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The Lychee Martini, edamame, and dynamite shrimp appetizers were so good. We also enjoyed our rolls and the creme brule for dessert.
